Under the auspices of the
President of the Hellenic Republic, Mr. Karolos Papoulias

The distinguished American director Lee Breuer presents the official premiere of the opera Antigone by Theodore Stathis, with choreography by Ersi Pitta.

The production is being organized, on a not-for-profit basis, by the Centre for Ancient Drama.

The proceedings will be used to support starving children, donated to the charity Medecins sans Frontieres (ensuring 70,000 meals for children aged 6 months to 5 years).
